What Is Screen Printing?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Screen printing is the more common method of printing designs on various apparel.<\/span><\/span>\"screen<\/a> The screen printing process uses woven mesh and ink-blocking <\/span><\/span>stencils to <\/span><\/span>create the design. The stencil for one <\/span><\/span>color is placed on the mesh and then ink is moved across the stencil, forcing ink only through the opening in the stencil. Once one color is complete they repeat with another color and another stencil until the design is complete.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Cannot produce high resolution details, like from photographs<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-May have color limits<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is Digital Printing?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In digital printing, the printing process uses a printer head to apply ink directly onto your clothing or other various apparel. It works the same as your paper printer at home, only this printer is designed to print on fabric. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pros of Digital Printing<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Great for small orders<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Can show the finer details of photos<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Soft to the touch<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Design lays flat<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cons of Digital Printing

-Exact color matching not guaranteed <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Printing area size is limited to size of the printer or it’s set-up<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

-Large orders can be less cost efficient<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
