A: Nothing! Anvil is a Gildan brand. Gildan has begun transitioning all of its garments under the Anvil brand to a Gildan label as of 2022. Because of this, you may receive garments with Anvil tags and Gildan tags. Rest assured, these are the same garment.
Q: What is the difference between Anvil 980 and Gildan 64000?
A: 64000 is made with 100% ringspun cotton whereas the 980 is made with 100% combed ringspun cotton. This small detail makes the Anvil tee softer than the similar Gildan tee.
